Brain dysregulation is a condition which results from physical, chemical, emotional or mental stress, as well as some predispositions. The BrainCore technology and science is based on a training procedure that effectively regulates the nervous system providing proven relief of conditions associated with brainwave dysregulation.
Simply put, it is a guided exercise for the brain. The goal is to transform an unhealthy brainwave into a normal, healthy, organized brainwave. It is completely noninvasive and is considered by the Food and Drug Administration to be safe. Neurofeedback has NEVER produced a serious side effect since it was first discovered over 40 years ago.

Focus Areas
Although this approach can be used to regulate many areas, Dr. Barnett’s passion came from personal experience. Having experienced a benign brain tumor herself, as well as her son being diagnosed with ADHD, she began to research alternative treatments. We have focused on these areas.
ADHD
(Inappropriate behavior, including poor attention skills, impulsivity, and/or hyperactivity)
Drugs call psycho-stimulants or stimulants have been used to effectively treat ADHD for years. They work by increasing the production of two neurotransmitters – dopamine and norepinephrine. Medicine help users to focus their thoughts and ignore distractions. Stimulant medications are effective in 70% to 80% of patients. However there are short and long term effects related to these drugs. The most common side effects of ADHD drugs include: decreased appetite, sleep problems, headaches, jitteriness, social withdrawal, stomach aches. Neaurofeedback is a training procedure designed to teach children with ADHD how to control their own brainwaves bringing balance, harmony and regulation to the brain. The goal is to transform unhealthy brainwave pattern into a healthy one.

Migraines
Although much about the cause of migraines isn’t understood, genetics and environmental factors seem to both play a role. A migraine headache can cause intense throbbing or pulsing in one area of the head and is commonly accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and extreme sensitivity to light and sound. Migraine attacks can cause significant pain for hours to days and be so severe that all you can think about is finding a dark, quiet place to lie down. Simple Over the counter pain relievers are usually the first line of treatment for reducing the pain. Prescription medications don’t cure headaches; they just relieve the symptoms temporarily. In a study, using Neurofeedback to regulate migraines, 70% of the participants experienced at least a 50% reduction in severity and frequency of headaches.
Autism
Autism Medications, however successful, generally carry unwanted side effects. Often a patient will have one drug to treat a single problem and two other drugs to treat the side effects of the first drug. As long as a patient is on the medication, some improvement is noticed. But, if the medication is discontinued, there is high probability of a return to the former state. Research over the past 50 years has demonstrated that inappropriate brainwave activity is at the core of most of these childhood disorders. Neurofeedback is a sophisticated form of biofeedback that actually trains the brain to normalize the brainwaves and make them flexible and adaptable to situational needs.
How Long Does it Take to Get Results?
Trainees typically come for 30 sessions of training. Trainees come twice a week or more. Each session is 30-45 minutes long. They typically begin to see changes in about 5-8 sessions.
The goal of neurofeedback is not to diagnose or treat a particular condition. The goal is to transform unhealthy, dysregulated brainwave pattern into a normal, healthy, organized pattern. When you have information on what your brain waves are doing, your brain can use that information to change how it works.
